This pendant demonstrates a plague doctor mask. It has a bird beak (if you didn’t know it, medieval doctors used to stuff it with herbs – it was one of the first gas mask prototypes) and a tall laced hat. This wouldn’t be steampunk style without a couple of statement elements. That’s why this doctor mask wears goggles and the bail resembles a gear.
To make this pendant even more stunning, we added contract elements. While the mask itself is crafted from premium sterling silver, the beak tip and hat are made of brass. Along with that, the goggles display a copper finish. Over time, when copper gets patina, this pendant will acquire new colors.
